ADA Amazonia LIGHT Soil Powder
The aqua soil series, made from natural fine soil, are the substrate materials developed for the Nature Aquarium. Characterised by its natural earth-colour, Amazonia Light helps to make your aquarium visually more natural. It is produced with selected black soil and promotes the growth of all types of aquatic plans, except those that may also require special water conditions. Powder type is premium substrate material, made from fine substrate granules. It is recommended for the use as a thin layer of substrate on top of normal type, for the use as substrate in a small tank, and for breeding shrimp.

Fluval Stratum
Collected from the mineral rich foothills of the famous Mont Aso Volcano in Japan.
Fluval Stratum is the ideal substrate for stimulating the growth of aquatic plants in freshwater aquariums. Plant roots easily penetrate and spread throughout the substrate, allowing plants to obtain a variety of key, readily available nutrients that will make them flourish.
The addition of FLUVAL PLANT MICRO NUTRIENTS will ensure a full complement of essential macro and micro nutrients. The substrate’s light, non-compacting, porous structure is also highly beneficial to nitrifying bacteria, which rapidly colonize the vast porous surface, providing optimal water quality for plants.
Fluval Stratum’s inherent properties will help support a neutral to slightly acidic pH, ideal for most plant species and species of tropical fish or shrimp normally kept in planted aquariums. Fluval Stratum also provides new born shrimp with the ideal refuge, allowing them to escape predation until they are large enough to emerge.
This highly attractive substrate will not discolor water and helps control organic discolouration usually present when natural driftwood is used.

Tropica Aquarium Soil Powder
Tropica Aquarium Soil Powder is a complete active bottom layer, which can be used on it’s own without any other types of bottom layer. You are not required to top with gravel or any other substrate. The grain size of 1-2mm makes it easy for planting. Aquarium Soil Powder ensures proper growth and stimulates red colours.
Aquarium Soil Powder is ideal for use in nano/smaller aquariums to gain a greater sense of scale. It can also be used in the foreground areas in larger tanks where small/delicate foreground plants require a finer grain of substrate to aid planting.
As a guide, use 1x 3L bag of aquarium soil per 20L of aquarium water.
